He is an active ringer and has directed a variety of age groups (middle school, high school, college, adult). He is currently the Director of Handbell activities at Concordia University Irvine where he directs the Spirit Bells ensemble, teaches handbell methods, and leads CUI’s annual handbell invitationals and festivals in partnership with his colleague Alex Guebert. Quality event programming, community engagement, and education are all important to expanding handbells in our communities. California Heights United Methodist Church, 3759 Orange Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807, USAJoin us for a day of reading and ringing. 3 conductors, 10 hand selected pieces per conductor. Enjoy a day of ringing just for fun? Want to improve your sight reading skills? Looking for new music for your choir for next year? Just want to hang out with other bell ringers? Want someone to delivery lunch to you? This day is for you. We hope you'll join us under the baton of Michele Sharik, Lynn Atkins and Mark Longfield for a day of fun. Please bring gloves, and we recommend a binder to lean music against. Everything else will be provided. Lunch available for purchase.
