This year’s festival will again feature Christine Anderson as clinician and as performer in a solo mini-concert! She travels all over the country with her handbells so it will be fun to see and hear the new things she has learned!

    • “The Morning Trumpet” arranged by Lloyd Larson, 3-5 octaves, optional trumpet, Alfred Publishing, 19014 (includes trumpet score) $2.98, looks exciting! Old melody from “The Sacred Harp” which was published in 1844!
    • “A Festive Intrada” composed by Cynthia Dobrinski, 3-5 octaves, level: NA (easy medium) Shawnee, MSPHP5200 $2.13, HW: “Learn this exciting piece in a very short time. A winner for ringers and audience.”

Workshop at 2 p.m. Even if your choir cannot attend/ring in the Concert, please come and ring something new. We can have extra handbells set up for those who can’t persuade their choir to ring for the concert. Let me know so I will have bells/tables ready. We want to be set up and be ready to ring at 2 p.m. Please let me know if you want to set up earlier so you can “warm up” with your group. We will coordinate times as we get the information from you! We will provide snacks from 1 – 4 to keep everyone energized.

Concert at 4 p.m. Free admission for ringers and their directors. Tickets for general public available in advance and at the door. $8 General Admission, $5 TMU Alumni, free for children under 12.
