There are many appointed positions on the Area 12 Board, including Regional Coordinators (RC) and more.  Do you have a few hours every month?  Consider voluntering to serve on the board.

  • Intro to Massed Ringing with Harmony Handbells

    First Christian Church, 101 S Rancho Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89106, USA

              Intro to Massed Ringing Workshop including low level massed ringing pieces under the direction of Brad Hendricks of Harmony Handbells and classes on handbell techniques and music. Event ends with a sharing session where the massed ringing pieces will be performed as well as any solo pieces that groups/individuals want to perform. Massed ringing pieces are "Angels From the Realms of Glory" arranged by Jason Krug and "Recollection" by Tim Waugh.

            BellJam is back! Dust off your ringing skills and join Tintab for this free, hands-on workshop on Sept. 7th from 10:00-2:00 at Sparks United Methodist Church, 1231 Pyramid Way, Sparks NV. The morning workshop, Bells 101, will cover ringing basics including articulations. After a light brunch (provided), Bells 102 will cover marking your music for success.   • Bellz! The Next Generation (Area 12 Youth Conference)

    This is a two day event for youth ringers (middle and high school aged) featuring massed ringing, classes, challenge pieces, and social interaction through music.  Ringers will work with clinician Greg Ashurst for 2 days and then give a public concert.  The purpose of the event is to improve musicianship for young ringers and help connect them with the handbell community. 
    Registration opens in March.
