Michèle rings professionally with Sonos Handbell Ensemble, is the founding Artistic Director of Timbré, and is an internationally-renowned handbell soloist, conductor, and teacher. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts in 2012 from Cal State San Marcos and a Graduate Certificate in Performing Arts Medicine in 2017 from Shenandoah University. Michèle is Master Teacher of Handbell Techniques for the Certification program of the Handbell Musicians of America, and Past Chair of Area 12.

    Are you a handbell addict? Do you like to be challenged? If
    you answered YES to either of these questions, then Bronze Vision is for YOU! This option features four hours
    of intense ringing – something all you handbell addicts will love! Beth will work to bring out all the music
    that's in these "meaty" pieces and in YOU, all the while keeping it lively and fun for everyone. The Bronze
    Vision group will present two pieces at the Saturday afternoon concert. Expect to work hard, but expect to
    go home with a BIG SMILE on your face!

    Repertoire for Bronze Vision:

    • The Banana Boat Song* arr. by Sondra K. Tucker (Level 3) — From the Top, 3-6
    octaves handbells, 3-4 octaves handchimes, with optional percussion (bongos, maracas, claves, rainstick, windchimes, and bamboo chimes)

  • 2024 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BRONZE VISION AND SPRING RING with ELIZABETH MAYS LOEBIG

    Bronze Vision rehearsal 8-10am.  Massed rehearsal starts at 11am. 30 minute lunch break. Public concert 5:30pm.

    Come as a choir or an individual ringer bringing your own bells and music. If any groups or individual ringers cannot bring their own bells, please contact Michele at [email protected] and she will see what she can do to help. If desired, individual ringers may be added to incomplete groups.
    Our hosts will again have a sandwich lunch available for Spring Ring attendees for a small fee added to registration. If you choose not to take advantage of this opportunity, there is plenty of space on campus to eat if you bring your own lunch, or there are a few restaurants not far from the church.

    Concordia University, Irvine, CA

    This is a two day event for youth ringers (middle and high school aged) featuring massed ringing, classes, challenge pieces, and social interaction through music.  Ringers will work with clinician Tim Waugh for 2 days and then give a public concert.  The purpose of the event is to improve musicianship for young ringers and help connect them with the handbell community. 
    Registration opens in March.
