Alison Pruett has been ringing handbells since her church started a bell choir in 1989. Whenever she has moved to a new town, the first thing she looks for is a handbell choir to join. When she couldn’t find a choir with an opening in Salt Lake City, she started a handbell choir at her church. She currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and directs a handbell choir at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and plays in the community choir Harmony Handbells. When not playing bells, Alison works as a wildlife biologist and plays French horn at her church.
