Nancy Schmitt

In addition to her church handbell choir, Nancy directs an ecumenical bell ensemble sponsored by St. James Lutheran and First Presbyterian Churches of Redding, California. She enjoys attending festivals and conferences, as well as playing in church services, at weddings and at retirement homes. When not directing or ringing bells, you can find Nancy gardening, golfing, cross country skiing or hiking with her husband (a retired Navy veteran who teaches at Shasta College in Redding), or hanging out with her two children or four grandchildren.
