Intro to massed ringing (workshop)

First Christian Church, 101 S Rancho Rd, Las Vegas, NVThis event is open to full choirs or to individuals who want to experience massed ringing in a low pressure situation. Music will be Level 1 and classes will focus on techniques, rhythms, and other ringing basics
Director – Marci Nuoffer of Faith Lutheran Schools, Area 12 Chair
Repertoire:
"Jesus Shall Reign" by Linda Lamb, Lorenz Corp, 201735L (2-3 octaves) or 201736L (3-5 octaves)
"Danza" by Kevin McChesney, Jeffers, JHS9228 (2-3 octaves)
Groups/soloists are encouraged to share at the end of the day.

Bell Jam Fall Workshop

Sparks United Methodist Church, 1231 Pyramid Way, Sparks, NV 89431, USAAre you: Curious about handbells & handchimes? A bell ringer wanting to dust off your skills and get ringing again? A handbell director/teacher/leader wanting to put more “tools” in your kit? A musician looking to connect with the greater handbell community, or maybe just a specific group?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above, you belong at Bell Jam. This free mini workshop includes lots of hands-on ringing time, a brunch social (food provided), and the chance to connect with other ringers in the Northern NV community. Admission is free, but please RSVP to the event so that we can ensure we have enough bells and food for everyone.

St Christopher's Episcopal Church, 93 N Kainalu Dr, Kailua, HI 96734, USAA two session ringing handbell workshop. Attendees can attend one or both sessions. The sessions are $25 each or two for $35. The sessions will consist of ringing 3 pieces of music learning techniques and music at the same time.
