Michèle rings professionally with Sonos Handbell Ensemble, is the founding Artistic Director of Timbré, and is an internationally-renowned handbell soloist, conductor, and teacher. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts in 2012 from Cal State San Marcos and a Graduate Certificate in Performing Arts Medicine in 2017 from Shenandoah University. Michèle is Master Teacher of Handbell Techniques for the Certification program of the Handbell Musicians of America, and Past Chair of Area 12.

  • Bellz! The Next Generation (Area 12 Youth Conference)

    September 27, 2024 @ 4:00 pm - September 28, 2024 @ 5:30 pm
    Concordia University, Irvine, CA

    This is a two day event for youth ringers (middle and high school aged) featuring massed ringing, classes, challenge pieces, and social interaction through music.  Ringers will work with clinician Greg Ashurst for 2 days and then give a public concert.  The purpose of the event is to improve musicianship for young ringers and help connect them with the handbell community. 
    Registration opens in March.
